Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Daylight, a product of Common:Denominator ("Daylight," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Daylight is an operations layer for solar and home services companies. It connects to your existing CRM, scheduling, field service, and communication tools to track job lifecycles, flag stalls, trigger interventions, and provide lead-to-install attribution. Daylight does not replace your existing tools — if a connector fails, your underlying operations continue normally.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and is billed monthly at the rate shown for your plan at signup. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Your account and connected tools

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. When you connect a third-party tool (CRM, scheduling software, etc.) to Daylight, you represent that you have the right to share that data with us for the purpose of providing the Service.

Data and product improvement

Daylight may use anonymized, aggregated signal derived from your account's alerts and interventions — such as which stage a job stalled in, what type of intervention was used, and whether and how quickly it resolved — to improve stall-detection thresholds and risk scoring across the Service. This never includes your customers' names, contact information, addresses, or any other information that identifies a specific person or job. This is on by default; you can opt out at any time in Settings, and doing so stops future use of your data for this purpose.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access data belonging to other customers, disrupting the Service's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

Daylight and its underlying technology are owned by Common:Denominator. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or software beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended. You retain all rights to your own business data.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." Daylight surfaces alerts, risk scores, and recommendations to help you run your operations more effectively, but you remain responsible for the decisions you make in your business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Common:Denominator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms or that have significantly overdue payments, after reasonable notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Daylight evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
