Daylight ("Daylight," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Common:Denominator. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and our operations platform for solar and home services companies (together, the "Service").

Information we collect

Account and billing information. When you sign up, we collect your name, company name, and email address. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves — Stripe handles that under its own privacy policy.

Operational data from your connected tools. Daylight connects to your existing CRM, scheduling, field service, and communication tools to build a unified view of your pipeline. This may include lead, job, customer, and scheduling data from those systems. We only access what's needed to power lifecycle tracking, alerts, and attribution reporting, and we never sell this data.

Usage data. We collect basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) when you use our website, to keep the Service secure and working correctly.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve the Service: tracking job lifecycles, detecting stalls, triggering interventions, generating attribution reports, billing your subscription, and providing customer support. We do not use your operational data to train third-party AI models beyond what's needed to power the specific features of your own account.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Daylight — including Stripe (billing), our hosting infrastructure, and email/SMS providers used for the interventions you configure — each bound to protect your data. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped credentials for connected integrations — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours as safe as reasonably possible.

Data retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you reactivate or as required by law. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us below.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you're located somewhere with specific data-protection rights (such as the EU/UK or California), we'll honor requests consistent with applicable law.
